I don't know jackshit about Japanese so transcribing the lyrics to one of my favorite shmup songs (this version is amazing) would be a very difficult venture. Googling in English turned up nothing, but after a bit of searching around and some copypastas, I have the lyrics to DoDonPachi Dai-ondo that you can actually sing to!
http://d.hatena.ne.jp/kyobao/20080305/1204701645
Original Japanese lyrics in kana.
For future reference, "歌詞ちゃん" apparently translates to "song lyric" or "lyric". So googling "どどんぱち 大音頭 歌詞ちゃん" will get you the link above. Copy paste into a kana -> romaji converter and there you have it. I used this one because it shows the kana and then the romaji text.
I couldn't care less for a translation, it would probably be stupid anyways. Just enjoy the song in its singable, possible karaoke-able glory!
Note: I MAY edit in the future because while it largely matches up with the lyrics in the song, some parts are iffy and I want it to look nicer.
I talk too much, so without further ado~

Gah, so I tried to resize them but sadly only the Nexus Beats picture shows up properly. I will eventually host my own versions of these covers so sit tight.

As you may have noticed, a number of these images are cut off. Hold tight, because I need to come up with a uniform image size for this blog. So yeah, if it bothers you that much, hunt me down and yell at me to resize it.

Perski contributed tracks #1, #2, #5, #6, #10
Mal contributed tracks #3, #7
Ivry contributed tracks #4, #8
Aye~N contributed track #9
Artist: V.A.
Release: 2006
Album: Nexus Beats vol. 1
Comments: I had to type out that entire track listing AND provide a picture of the cover. This is definitely the most obscure of the bunch. How does the music measure up? It's not stellar, but it's a decent sampler of dubstep which is a genre I don't care about that much. It's not that exciting but it's definitely not bad. Try if you're curious enough, you may like it.

Controlled Developments - Source Direct

Track Listing
Artist: Source Direct
Release: 1997
Album: Controlled Developments
Comments: I would best describe this as dnb with an industrial feel. This influence is more pronounced than in, say, The Prodigy's similar releases. I personally didn't like this all too much just because when I think of 90s dnb, I think of when The Prodigy was actually good. That being said, I've definitely heard worse, but this didn't do it for me.

Distances - H.U.V.A. Network

Track listing
Artist: H.U.V.A Network
Release: 2004
Album: Distances
Comments: Trance-y ambient. It gets a little boring considering how long this album is and it doesn't innovate too much, but it's perfect music to play if you just want to relax or have to get some work done. Background music, if you will. Obviously don't download if you need exciting, upbeat music but if you're the type of person who likes music playing in the background while you go about your daily business, you should download this.

The Dusk - ВсполоХ (Vspolox)

Track Listing:
1. Solntsevorot Kres (intro)
2. Soaring on Nightwings
3. Into the Majestic Eeriej
4. The Dusk
5. By The Forest Path (outro)
Artist: Vspolox
Release: 2007
Album: The Dusk
Comments: This release is apparently so rare that it's not listed in M-A's database nor is there a track listing for it (yay me being lazy). Well, unlike Pussygutt, this is actual metal. Russian black metal. Wait! Before you turn away from something that looks like some some shitty obscure poorly recorded kvlt bullshit or noise bm, give it a chance. This is neither of those, but it's not exactly clean either. It sounds slightly generic but since it's quite a pleasant listen, it's not too bothersome. It helps that I listened to this doing my homework, haha. So yeah, I liked this.

She Hid Behind Her Veil - Pussygutt

Artist: Pussygutt (now known as Wolvserpent)
Release: 2009
Album: She Hid Behind Her Veil
Comments: The entire album is a single 49 minute track so no track listing is necessary. Anyways, this particular release confounded me because at first I thought it was funeral doom but apparently it's not metal. C'mon internet, give me an answer! Anyways, I bought this out of curiosity and while it tends to be repeating, I'm not disappointed. I can best describe this as a dark ambient experience that isn't metal, but sure gives off funeral doom vibes. So if you like ambient and/or funeral doom, I would recommend checking this out. I liked it.

New uploads coming soon
Even though college is being...college-y, I'm not the poorest of students so I picked up some nice CDs yesterday. I haven't listened to them yet, but somehow I archived and uploaded all of them to Mediafire already! But I have to give my opinion first, so...yeah. :P
Also, apparently my most popular uploads are the Clicks & Cuts Compilation and the Einhander Arrangement. I don't know which is in first because Einhander was uploaded on Megaupload and I don't have an account so I have no statistics. Clicks & Cuts has a grand total of....24 downloads! When you're excited about 24, you aren't that popular but at least some people are enjoying it! Those two are probably my favorite uploads, to be quite honest (along with Wijlen Wij). If you care to read this, you must somehow care for this blog so I encourage you to download whatever else I have unless I say it's shitty (which is only the case for that one Dance thing and the majority of DJMax). I'll bring it over to Mireille to end this...

Hardcore Til I Die [3 Discs] - V.A

http://www.discogs.com/Re-Con-Squad-E-Hardcore-Til-I-Die-3/release/2461441 -> track list
Artist: Re-Con & Squad-E
Release: 2010
Album: Hardcore Til I Die 3
Comments: Absolutely stellar hhc compilation, and I'm barely done with the first disc. Apparently each disc has a different motif. The artists are officially Re-Con and Squad-E, but this is really a compilation of many different hhc artists we know and love, such as Hixxy, Breeze, Dougal & Gammer, and more. In other words, don't fret, the typical favorites are on here. I'm a huge fan of HTID, so the newest entry in the series was one of my first purchases with my new credit card, haha. It took 2 weeks to import this from the UK, but it was worth it. Seriously though, this is a great listen and probably one of the best releases of 2010. A number of songs are really fun, but I'll leave it up to you listeners to see what those fun songs are.
This is the only upload on the internet of this release that uses Mediafire, so you're welcome. I will probably not upload in wav because the file size would be too large and it's just too much trouble. Be grateful I'm sharing this and doing you a favor with upping this on Mediafire. :P

Couple of notes
Firstly, I have one more album to upload, which is the compilation of Ukrainian black metal. The album itself is ripped but I need to organize the track listing. It is rare, of course!

I think I have some other crap too, but I'll hold off on that. I have HTID 3 on order (delivery date at the fucking end of October??), an ATR DVD I need to figure out how to rip, and other goodies. Additionally, I am able to re-rip some of these CDs in wav and someone wants them, I'll try to overcome my laziness and upload them. So for now, over and out!

*drool* Rare...

DANCE PARADISE VOL.2-Non-Stop Euro Special-
I couldn't find album information for this online, but it's really not worth my time. This thing is a piece of shit. It's like disco and pop remakes of old songs I don't even like. I picked this up because as the font of the title suggests, this is Japanese and I expected either some cheesy hhc or club music or even J-pop renditions of shitty Europop crap. Any of these would have been preferable to the crap I got.
Enjoy, you sick fuck.
Actually, I apologize. I wouldn't insult anyone brave enough to try this.

Vargr - Northern Black Supremacy

Tracklist:
1. Intro: Kommando Satanas 02:05
2. Three Days For The King Of Jews 02:36
3. Mord 04:20
4. Do What We Say 04:26
5. Inside The Truth 02:31
6. Bring Forth The Ways Of Old 03:00
7. Christ Deflowered 03:16
8. Nature Defines Order Through War 04:29
9. Forged In Blood 03:55
10. Outro: Skandinavian Majesty 03:40
Artist: Nordvargr
Release: 1997
Album: Northern Black Supremacy
Comments: Wow, artist is different than the title for once. Apparently, this isn't too rare because I swiped the track list off of another blog. Funny story is because it came in shitty paper packaging and the logo was difficult to read (not by metal standards, but by normal people who don't listen to this shit standards), it took three clerks at Rasputin Records in San Francisco's Union Square to scan this. But yeah, it's black metal. It's also that noisy kind of black metal. Kvlt low quality black metal. A lot of people don't like that stuff, so if you don't, stay away. I didn't find this stellar, but I didn't find it terrible either. I don't strongly recommend it unless you're either willing to try anything, have an open mind or you're a completely "kvlt br00tul" black metal fan.

Atari Teenage Riot - Burn, Berlin, Burn

http://www.discogs.com/Atari-Teenage-Riot-Burn-Berlin-Burn/release/45739
Album: Burn, Berlin, Burn!
Release: 1997
Artist: Atari Teenage Riot
Comments: Ok, this isn't rare, but I found this historic album for....$6 at the local music shop. $6 for a used copy of a historic record is a pretty good deal so I picked this up. This is a must listen for any digital hardcore fan, as the classic songs on it defined the genre. But I honestly think anyone could enjoy this if they give it a shot. A must-download.

Clicks & Cuts, Vol. 5 - Paradigm Shift

Album: Clicks & Cuts, Vol. 5.0 - Paradigm Shift
Release: 2010
Artist: Various Artists
Comments: While this is VA, I'm going to review this album as a whole. This is simply fantastic. This is a perfect blend of dubstep, industrial, breakbeat, trance, ambient and a touch of J-core and it's an extremely pleasurable listen all around. I was unable to find a track listing, but since this is ripped directly from the CD, the track listing on this upload should be correct. There's apparently a 5.1 with extra tracks listed on Discogs, but I was unable to find it and it certainly wasn't in the CD store where I found this. 5/5, 10/10, A+.

Wijlen Wij - Self Titled

http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=156731
Album: Wijlen Wij
Release: 2007
Artist: Wijlen Wij
Comments: Kicking off my big posting fest is funeral doom! I'm kind of a secret doom fan, but I don't listen to too much of it. I found this release at a record store for cheap and giving a quick look at the M-A reviews, I decided to pick this up. I think this is a pretty good release, although not without its flaws....but its flaws are basically why I'm not too big on doom. Whether or not you like doom, I would definitely recommend this release. It's a nice listen.

Tons of new uploads tomorrow
I finally got off my lazy ass and uploaded music that I bought. But yeah, obviously, no one's pressing me for activity because I'm not popular, eh? :P Anyways, I will make individual posts for each of the albums and compilations I have uploaded, and I have HTID on order which should be nice. Oh, and I'm too lazy to sort out this Ukrainian Hordes collection I have. kjshadkjadhsjkas

New blog mascot!
I have lots of uploads and updates coming when I move into school; one of these is that my blog mascot will officially be Mireille of .hack//Legend of the Twilight (or Dusk, whatever you like to call it). Because this blog specializes in uploads of rare releases and music, I feel that her obsession with rare items is a suitable match. And also since a lot of my friends and people who frequent my blog consider me cute. n_n I am not a Japanfag or weaboo or anything like that.
I don't have a good picture of her from the manga when she's spouting out her "rare" spiel...but this shall suffice for now.
"Super happy to meetcha! Music, games, items....rare is rare and I'm going after it!"

5th gen: initial impressions
You know what? I give up on this shit.
All I can say is that I feel like I'm at the top of a giant roller coaster with a huge drop. I do not like the sensation of falling and I don't like roller coasters. This game...will be nothing we have witnessed before.
And so....Gamefreak has succeeded in their goal.

DoDonPachi Resurrection - iOS

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8WBWG2RT
A game upload!?!? Yep! I originally uploaded this so I could help out the people on Simon B's amazing SHMUP thread rip the music off this game, so I might as well have this up for everyone else as well.
The game itself is a standard danmaku; my major beef with this game is that you use your finger to control Sally's ship. I know most iOS games are touch screen, but that doesn't work for a danmaku because my finger blocks some of my vision on the screen. Being able to see the entire screen so you can dodge bullets in danmakus is EXTREMELY important. However, if you have money to burn (I do because I don't buy music on iTunes anymore, lol), the $9 price tag is justified by graphics almost equal to arcade versions of previous DoDonPachi games, a wonderful soundtrack (the reason I bought it in the first place!), and addicting gameplay. Except for the goddamn finger issue. Oh well.

I promise I'll get stuff up
Maybe I'll split my blogs into two; one for music and music reviews, and one for me to rant.
I have some things to upload here, so yeah.
Um...that's all I really want to say.

Final version of The Biggest Loser
So yeah, this is the edited version of the article that will appear on Bulbanews.
It’s the end of another generation, and the time leading up to the next set of games is a time where every player reflects on his or her experience with the previous ones. Diamond and Pearl were significant in that whether attacks were physical or special were no longer governed by type. Platinum and HG/SS expanded the movepools of many Pokémon and many previously underrepresented types finally got their time in the spotlight. But what Pokémon have been left in the dust? Which ones have been unable to adjust to all the changes? Who is the Biggest Loser, and what does it say about the metagame? In this article, I will attempt to pick out the top 5 Pokémon, both old and new, most deserving of the title “The Biggest Loser”. For the old, the question is who was most adversely affected by the generation gap; for the new, the question is which have been unable to keep up with the constantly shifting metagame. And unlike the reality show, being called that isn’t a good thing.
Old:
1. Alakazam: Of any other Pokémon, there is no sadder case than Alakazam’s. Besides having to contend with physical Pursuit, Sucker Punch, and the wider distribution of physical priority moves like Extremespeed, its elemental punches are now physical, forcing it to rely on Hidden Power for coverage. Platinum and HG/SS have introduced more Pokemon capable of learning Trick and Encore, robbing Zam of some of its more unique niches (though it remains the fastest user of Encore in the game). Oh, and it failed to get Vacuum Wave or Aura Sphere, instead relying on the 70% accurate Focus Blast, which makes it otherwise walled by many popular Dark types (unless you want to use the weaker Signal Beam), not to mention Tyranitar gaining a 50% Special Defense boost in the sand. And for the final nail in the coffin, Azelf outclasses it in nearly every way. Sure, it retains good usage in UU, but Alakazam’s golden age has long been over.
2. Everything weak to Rock: Stealth Rock is undoubtedly the most important move in 4th generation competitive play. As a result, everything weak to Rock has been adversely affected with no exceptions. It can be anywhere from a check to Salamence and Gyarados, despite both receiving otherwise incredible gains this generation, or the deal breaker for Pokemon like Articuno and Regice. At one point, a number of people even called for the unbanning of Ho-oh. Granted, Stealth Rock isn’t the sole reason certain Pokémon aren’t used, but there is no doubt that starting with a minimum of 75% health before getting to do anything is crippling to say the least.
3. Sceptile: The fastest starter lost not only its signature move to the physical side, but was then cheated by it being more widely distributed to Pokemon who could use it better. More than anything else though, Venusaur’s gains this generation has supplanted it as the best Grass type starter in competitive play. About the only thing Sceptile can indisputably do better is spam a blistering fast Choice Specs Leaf Storm, which is….walled by Venusaur, not to mention easy to outpredict. In standard play, Celebi outclasses Sceptile in every way, with new toys like Nasty Plot, Earth Power, and tons of support moves. In short, while enjoying good usage in UU, Sceptile has not acclimated to this generation well and lost the versatility that made it a fast, deadly killer in ADV.
4. Heracross: Poor Heracross; it had everything going for it when this generation started out, gaining Close Combat in addition to monstrous Megahorn, Choice Scarf to rectify its dismal speed, and a few other minor movepool additions. Besides the whole “ONG GLISCOR IS COUNTER” craze, Heracross is easier to switch in to than other commonly used Fighting types, lacking the coverage or annoying perks that make Lucario, Machamp, Breloom, and even Gallade so widely feared. It doesn’t even get U-turn, which it could potentially abuse much better than Scizor can. While Heracross can take advantage of Guts quite well, it’s simply harder to use and harder to fit in on a team. In short, there is little space for Heracross in this brave, new [strike]world[/strike] metagame.
5. Walls: In general, Pokémon with the specific purpose of taking hits from either side of the spectrum have been on the decline, owing to choice items, Life Orb, easier access to boosting moves and better STAB, the physical/special split, the increase of mixed attackers….I could go on and on. Passive damage like Sandstorm and Stealth Rock doesn’t help matters. Pokémon are simply taking too much damage to consider pure walling an option anymore, and had to reinvent themselves for some other purpose, usually support. Chief among these are the former SkarmBliss combo (Skarmory barely qualifies as a wall of any kind anymore), Weezing, and Donphan and even some newcomers like Gliscor, Cresselia, and Hippowdon. All in all, there is much more offensive play this generation compared to previous ones.
Honorable mention: Fragile Medicham always took a lot of skill to use, but was shafted by failing to get Close Combat. It gained the elemental punches, though. Deoxys-A is even more fragile and easier to deal with in ubers though it remains a deadly force. Dugtrio also took a lot of skill to use but its main flaw was its lack of power which was always a problem. All were adversely affected by an increase in priority moves.
New:
Note that there is a difference between a “Biggest Loser” and an overhyped pre-D/P Pokémon that never amounted to much. Therefore, only Pokémon that enjoyed significant popularity at one point are included.
1. Weavile: Unlike the other Pokémon overhyped in pre-D/P, Weavile took a bit of time to take a fall. At the beginning of D/P, it was one of the foremost of revenge killers with perfect dual STAB to carry out said task and blistering speed. Everyone considered one for their team because it was the “ultimate Dragon killer”. Rocks were a detriment, but not the deal breaker. What brought Weavile down was first and foremost a sparse movepool with pitiful STAB that barely outdamages Return (112.5 BP for STAB Ice Punch vs 102 BP for Return). There were plenty of better alternatives for revenge killing, especially when Platinum came out. Now, it had to contend with Choice Scarf Jirachi, Scizor, and others; Gengar and Starmie started to Scarf themselves more often so it was unable to outspeed them. While Weavile continues to have a revenging niche, it is relegated to the bottom of the OU tier.
2. Spiritomb: Spiritomb had some time in the spotlight early D/P, notably part of Obi’s legendary stall team and as the infamous Holy Grail of hackerdom, Wondertomb. The main selling point of Spiritomb was its typing, but resistances as well as lack of weaknesses are important and here Spiritomb faltered. Most people realized that Dark/Ghost isn’t all it’s cut up to be and the fact that it fell to repeated beatings to powerful STAB attacks. Its decline was gradual, but solidified by the Rotom formes’ ascension in Platinum and inferior defenses to Dusknoir when the Rotom formes are not available (such as on Wi-Fi). While Spiritomb enjoys high usage in UU, this is solely because the use of Mismagius and Alakazam are also high. Spiritomb’s glory days are over.
3. Bronzong: Bronzong was the top lead in early D/P but the rise of fast Taunt-using suicide leads have hurt it tremendously. Defensively, it was one of the better checks to the dreaded Garchomp, but then Garchomp was banned and people did not require it to check the next big dragon, Salamence. The story isn’t all bad, however, as its many support options have made it a popular choice for the official Nintendo video game championship (VGC) doubles teams, especially since Trick Room is extremely common. In singles where Trick Room has not had the same amount of popularity, Bronzong’s bell tolls little more.
4. Cresselia: People more or less expected Cresselia’s downfall and thus she is lower on the list. People damn well knew that Sandstorm cut into Moonlight’s effectiveness and that Pursuit further cut into her durability. She could take hits, but as a supporter faced stiff competition from Azelf, Jirachi, Celebi, and others. While Cresselia has had what is probably the quickest ban in the history of the UU suspect test, her usage is very low otherwise. All in all, Cresselia is analogous to a retired, forgotten old woman in a nursing home.
5. Giratina (another forme): Rounding off this list is the second least popular uber, after Deoxys-D (third if you count regular Deoxys). Giratina is a rather interesting case, because it is one of the few Pokémon whose fall can be attributed to….itself. Or, more accurately, its Origin forme that was introduced in Platinum. The original Giratina was once prized because of its gigantic HP and defenses which meant that it would be very difficult to kill, despite the fact that it is weak to Ice, Dragon and Dark like many other ubers. It was the sole counter to the feared “Extremekiller” Swords Dance Arceus whenever Arceus was allowed. Its popularity actually lasted until well after Platinum was released because the Origin forme seemed underwhelming when it was first released. This was until a few innovative players discovered that the Origin forme’s Levitate made it an asset because it was immune to the relatively common Spikes and the Griseous Orb was discovered to have more benefit than handicap. Not only did it boost the power of Origin Giratina’s fantastic STAB, but it also rendered it immune to Trick. As more people discovered the many perks of using Origin Giratina, the use of the other form gradually slipped. While it does have some merits with its better defenses, Origin Giratina is generally the better choice for an uber team.
Honorable mentions: The vast majority of the overhyped Pokémon from pre-D/P, like Rampardos and Electivire, never amounted to much, though a few like Mismagius enjoy high usage in the lower tiers. Hippowdon was an early D/P favorite but never significantly impacted the metagame.
There are plenty more Pokémon deserving of being named the Biggest Loser, but the 10 I picked are probably the best candidates for the title. Do you have other ideas and you think I missed something? Do you disagree with my choices or anything I said? Feel free to shoot me a PM or VM on the forums or simply comment on this article’s forum thread, and I will try my best to get back to you! Thanks for reading, and remember that as far as B/W go, anything can happen. Today’s star could be the next game’s Biggest Loser.

I'm too lazy to post more despite having tons of shit I should do
Firstly, this, this, so much this. This woman could not have put my thoughts on Christianity any better.
With that out of the way, I have an idea for this blog if I can somehow get it to work. Since lossless audio formats are pretty stupid because I can't fucking play them on my computer or get them on my iPod, I was thinking of uploading mirrors for albums that are difficult to get in mp3. The problem is....I don't know how to convert from ogg or flac to mp3. Ugh.

If I had a credit card, I'd buy WinRAR
I may post a rant in the next few days. But for now, these places are godly:

I am avoiding posting metal blogs because well....they're more well known.
A computer is an extremely cheap multimedia device. You can practically get anything downloadable you want for free off the internet, be it video games, comics, or music, and you save tons of money doing it. Oshit, it's stealing! Well, it's called fucking market forces. If you price your shit too high, like the entertainment industry does, people will avoid buying your products. Oh, and it's DRM free too.

The Biggest Loser: Pokemon gen IV edition
Sadly, I haven't gotten any of my article ideas off the ground for Bulbanews but I hope to...eventually. But for now, I might as well post my reflection here. I dunno why I feel like sitting in front of the computer and typing up pages of dialogue about fuckin' Pokemon, but I guess I am that bored this summer. I need a car and a job.
Without further ado, top 5 biggest losers of the fourth generation of Pokemon, divided into the old and the new. Feel free to flame me about my opinions if you wish by leaving a comment or some other medium you can contact me with.
Biggest losers:
Old:
1. Alakazam: I was debating between this and Gengar over who should deserve the top spot, but I ultimately went with Alakazam on virtue of losing much more. Besides having to contend with physical Pursuit, Sucker Punch, and increased physical priority, it lost the punches (which beat the shit out of HP, power and IV wise), it lost its niches as a Tricker and Encorer due to Platinum and Heartgold respectively (though it retains its status as the fast user of Encore in the game), and it’s pretty sad when Espeon outclasses you as a CMer in the lower tiers. Oh, and it failed to get Vacuum Wave or Aura Sphere, instead relying on the 70% accurate Focus Blast. And for the final nail in the coffin, Azelf outclasses it in nearly every way. Sure, it retains good usage in the lower tiers, but Alakazam’s golden age has long passed us.
2. Gengar: WAT GENGAR IS IN THE TOP 10 I DON’T EVEN. Trust me, Gengar deserves to be here, and I am equal opportunity in nominating both OU and non-OU Pokemon. On one hand, Gengar received a tremendous boost in receiving dual STAB this generation and started out with a more accurate Hypnosis; on the other hand, like Alakazam, it lost its punches, is plagued by priority and Pursuit, and relies on the shaky Focus Blast for coverage and it still fails to beat Tar. How does Gengar manage to stay in high usage? Firstly, it boasts a far superior typing to Zam; secondly, while fragile, Gengar has superior physical defense which prevents it from dying to a light bitch slap; thirdly, and probably the most likely/most prominent reason, Explosion. Granted, Gengar’s Explosion is weak, but it’s enough to stop people from being trigger happy with Blissey or Snorlax or some other generic special wall although people are using Tar and Heatran more for this purpose. But…yeah. Did I mention Hypnosis reverted back to 60% accuracy in Platinum?
3. Heracross: Poor Heracross; it had everything going for it when this generation started out, gaining CC in addition to monstrous Megahorn, Choice Scarf to rectify its dismal speed, and a few other goodies. Now it’s on the brink of dropping to UU and inevitably condemned to the usage hell known as BL (if only people played BL more). Most competitive players, including myself, really can’t definitively answer why Heracross took such a downward fall or “why didn’t you use Heracross on your last team?” “idk because I didn’t have room”. Besides the whole “ONG GLISCOR IS COUNTER” bullshit, it’s pretty easy to switch in to and less convenient or easy to use like Scizor. Heracross can enjoy niche use as something to piss off stall users who make the mistake of setting up one layer of Toxic Spikes or use Toxic with their Blissey, beats some of the things that would normally be a stop to Scizor (primarily Heatran and Magnezone), and can legitimately switch in to pretty much anything Tar does but otherwise most people dismiss Heracross as a washed up former star. Don’t want to name any real life examples…. *coughcough*
4. Raikou: WHY DID THEY MAKE IT RASH JKASHDJKLASSDA. Alas, Aura Sphere Raikou’s bid for late OU status was sadly put down due to Gamefreak’s bad decisions to a) make the event shiny and b) give it Extremespeed and a shitty nature. In ADV and 4th gen UU, Raikou was a holy terror, boasting great speed, excellent typing (though one generation before the steel move spam), and decent bulk. It managed to do all of this with the grand total of 6 moves and a couple of items in variance; Thunderbolt, Hidden Power, CM, Substitute, Crunch/Shadow Ball, and sometimes Rest. Sadly, the single largest cause of Raikou’s demise was, like many other unfortunate special attackers, the 1.5x Sandstorm boost. Entry hazards, SS, and all kinds of passive damage plus metagame changes meant that Raikou was on the out. And the one thing that could’ve saved it, Aura Sphere, is ruined by a less than optimal nature.
5. Walls: I thought about this and most of the Pokemon I thought of in this slot fit into this general category so I just ended up with this. In general, Pokemon with the specific purpose of taking hits from either side of the spectrum have been on the decline, owing to choice items, Life Orb, easier access to boosting moves and better STAB, the physical/special split, the increase of mixed attackers….I could go on and on. Passive damage doesn’t help matters. Pokemon are simply taking too much damage to consider pure walling an option anymore, and had to reinvent themselves for some other purpose. Chief among these are the former SkarmBliss combo, Weezing, and Donphan and even some newcomers like Gliscor, Cresselia, and Hippowdon. All in all, this is a testament to a metagame that is far more offensive than what we’ve seen in previous generations.
Honorable mention: Dugtrio; started as OU but usage was never really high and gradually declined and dropped due to prevalence of priority moves. Ubersect gets an honorable honorable mention.
New:
Note: No overhyped evolutions of old Pokemon are included, unless they enjoyed significant popularity; therefore, Pokemon like Electivire and Rhyperior are omitted.
1. Weavile: Unlike the other pre-D/P hyped Pokemon, Weavile took a bit of time to take a fall. At the beginning of D/P, it was one of the foremost of revenge killers with perfect dual STAB to carry out said task and blistering speed. Rocks were a detriment, but not the deal breaker. What brought Weavile down was first and foremost pitiful STAB that barely outdamaged Return (112.5 BP for STAB Ice Punch vs 102 BP for Return) and there were plenty of better alternatives. Secondly, Platinum. Just Platinum. No more explanation needed. It retains some of its revenging niche from early D/P, but is relegated to the bottom of the OU tier.
2. Everything weak to Rock: Stealth Rock pretty much hurt them badly but the wide distribution of Stone Edge also hurts. It’s very feasible that Moltres would have a good shot at being OU if the damn rocks weren’t everywhere, but everything else is pretty much badly affected too. The plague doesn’t spare Pokemon like Salamence and Gyarados who stay where they are by virtue of their otherwise absurdly good qualities, and probably the biggest obstacle facing Salamence for ubers fanatics. I could write so much more on Rocks but everyone knows about it, so I’ll just end it here before it gets too long.
3. Spiritomb: Ok, I’ll be honest, I was hard pressed to think of new Pokemon that didn’t fall under “overhyped evolution” or something already covered. While Spiritomb kinda fits into “overhyped” and “wall”, it did have some time in the spotlight early D/P, notably part of Obi’s legendary stall team and as the infamous hacker whore known as Wondertomb. The main selling point of Spiritomb was its typing, but as the Smog aptly put it, resistances as well as lack of weaknesses are important for a stall team member and here Spiritomb faltered. Most people realized that Dark/Ghost isn’t all it’s cut up to be. Its decline was gradual, but solidified by the Rotom form’s ascension in Platinum and inferior defenses to Dusknoir when the Rotom forms are not available. Even its UU usage has fallen a bit since Gallade and Froslass were banned. All in all, Spiritomb misses its glory days.
4. Cresselia: Unlike Weavile and Spiritomb, people more or less expected Cresselia’s downfall and thus it is lower on the list. People damn well knew that SS cut into Moonlight’s effectiveness and that Pursuit further cut into its durability and was just as easily walled as Blissey was if not more. It was once known as the thing that could take a hit and barely getting the revenge kill or using X support move, but people were pretty much over Cresselia by the time Platinum was released; Garchomp was banned, Trick screwed around with it, and of course Scizor. It finally dropped down to UU in early 2010 due to low usage and probably had the quickest ban in the history of the UU suspect test. It sits in BL and enjoy niche uses in OU and ubers, but is more or less like a retired old woman in a vacation home, waiting patiently until she is needed for Social Security paperwork or other such shit.
5. Bronzong: While still a solid OU with a ton of support options, the rise of Taunt using suicide leads have hurt Bronzong tremendously. It is outclassed as a lead by Metagross. Like Cresselia, its usage fell when Garchomp was banned and Scizor took its place as the #1 OU. The “Steel immune to ground” niche has long since worn off its popularity and Trick Room has never quite caught on and Bronzong sits in relative obscurity despite this being a metagame dominated by steels. If only it had better HP. Or auto-heal.
Honorable mentions: People gave only a fleeting fuck about those overhyped evos, but the vast majority never amounted to much. Only Gliscor enjoys lasting popularity. Hippowdon was an early D/P favorite and usage has fallen significantly, but never was a large force in the metagame.
*insert conclusion I'm too lazy to type up* Leave comments please, whether they're flames or critiques or whatever. I'm always willing to answer them. :) And yes, I can defend my thoughts, except perhaps why I filed walls under old, and things with a Rock weakness under the new. I really don't know why, but just take them at face value.

"No girls on the internet" bullshit
You meet as much trash, if not more, on the internet than you do in daily life. Trolling, immaturity, other shit...all that jazz. What pisses me off most though is that on every fucking forum I join, I am assumed to be male because I don't have some pretty ass username or some girly avatar. I don't give a shit if it's unintentional, but gender stereotypes are absolutely inexcusable. Well, of course, if it's intentional, it's trolling which means you know and therefore you are just guilty of being a dumbass which doesn't bother me as much. But really, to be assumed a smelly hairy beast with a penis behind the computer screen is one of the few insults that brings my piss to a boil. Especially when I am beautiful and I'm not a butch or a dyke.
And that is all for my short rant. I suppose I could go further given Oranje's terrible playing when they badly need to win. To hell with Spain.

DJMAX Technika - The review no one's gonna read

Link's in the other post, just so you know.
I'm probably to post a separate review for all larger compilations. Anyways, I saw this game in a few arcades and decided to give it a try. This game is pretty much DDR with your hands: hit the note at the right time and in some cases the correct pattern. Alas, I failed miserably because I have the worst reflexes in the world (no wonder I prefer turn-based RPGs like Pokemon). I did get curious about the music, though like DDR, the OST would probably be packed with a bunch of shitty, sugary Asian pop music. The DJMAX series is Korean, not Japanese, but given what I heard the music selection was likely to be the same. Having no job for the summer, I had nothing better to do than listen and review.
My first impressions were absolutely true, both in the $5 in quarters I wasted at the arcade and the whole thing I downloaded. Most of this album is shitty Asian pop music with the language of the lyrics changing as much as the mood of a bipolar psychopath betting on the current 2010 World Cup, but there are a few gems. You could say the same for DDR releases, but this is a lesser known franchise. It's also funny how both the game and the Wikipedia releases do not know their genres for electronic music.
So yeah, I guess I should move on to a review of selected songs. As far as I know, besides the bonus track, the Platinum CD simply consists of longer versions of the regular CD's tracks and offers no little to no new content. There is no particular order; I listened through with my iPod on shuffle.
All tracks - All of them are relatively short, which is good news if you hate Asian pop music as much as I do (well, I hate pretty much all pop lol). Even for the good music, the shortness helps keep what you like not boring and repetitive.
First Kiss (BJJ) - Probably the first song most people play on the game (it was my first), the song's title is apt. And honestly, it's the least painful pop song on the entire album. It's not something I would listen to every day, but it's not bad at all.
SON OF SUN (Hosoe Shinji) - ....yet there's a Japanese artist on a Korean game soundtrack. Anyways, this is my favorite song from the entire album. It's a refreshing little hardcore tune that's not quite light enough to be considered hhc that provides some hope for the genre, especially since the Western scene is infested with gabber artists overusing their hip-hop and rap samples (*coughcough*MoH artists*coughcough*). The vocal samples blend in well with the music and the experience is pleasant. Incidentally, the Wikipedia article (not sure about the game) laughingly calls this "gabber".
ACCESS (SPHAZER) - A regular ol' dance track that's tolerable. It's average and a bit generic but worth a listen and certainly one of the better tracks.
STOP (3rd Coast) - Catchy, cheesy, and fun, I love this track. They should be playing this kind of music instead of that shitty mainstream hip hop 4 da gangstaz. Probably my second favorite song after SON OF SUN, this is an enjoyable listen and once you learn the lyrics, you really can't resist singing along (the lyrics are in English). SO SMOOTH MAKE A MOVE BABY....
Bonus Track (Pentavision) - Pentavision are the makers of the game, so this track on the Platinum mix is their little "Easter egg". I like the use of low beats, but this song gives me a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. I'm kind of neutral....I don't hate the song, but it's not good by any stretch. But like ACCESS, it's a head above the rest of the pack.
SuperSonic (Planet Boom) - Originally on a game called S4 League published by the same company and unknown to myself and probably most American gamers, this song is a representative of one of those shitty "add subgenre of rock or metal and mix with some speedcore" recipes. It's not quite digital hardcore, but it's certainly reminiscent of it, and unfortunately is an example of it done badly as it is so many times. Listen to Atari Teenage Riot, which is an amazing act (coincidentally coming together for a reunion tour this year), and you'll see what I mean.
Clear Blue Sky (Tsukasa) - This song is ok in small doses if you can ignore the vocals, and for this reason the shorter version that's on the regular disk is a better listen than the full version on the Platinum mix. The vocals annoyed me to some extent, but otherwise it was decent. It starts out slow...a bit too slow, but improves towards the end. Why does this remind me so much of .hack?
The Last Dance (Urbatronic) - This song is so laughably terrible, it reminds me of one of those Destiny's Child songs that was popular when I was in 4th grade. I have one song in mind, but I can't think of its name. Not that it matters or that anyone cares.
Para Q (Forte Escape) - This song is nostalgic mostly because it reminds me of Thunderdome II and therefore is probably only enjoyable to myself. Well, more like an updated made-for-music-game version of Thunderdome II. And you know what? That sounds way better than recent official Thunderdome releases.
Area 8 (SPHAZER) - Tolerable, but slightly worse than ACCESS.
Cherokee (xxdbxx) - That's really the artist name, not a Gaiafag username. Does db stand for Dubstep...? Anyways, this track is pretty decent, I like it. Nothing particular of note other than that it's an enjoyable listen.
Fury (Sugardonut) - azn lads trying to play punk, and....it's actually a short and enjoyable track. The part from 00:24-00:38 I did not like but fortunately it's not that long and this song was spared from a bad review as a result. If this were any longer, I probably would hate it as I hate most rock music and its subgenres. It's a guilty pleasure, but we all have them. Not like I replayed this over and over again.....ok fine, I did.
Oblivion (ESTi) - Elder Scrolls V speculation aside, as far as I know this is one of the most popular songs on DMT. And I do not see what the fuck people like about this, other than further proving their terrible taste in music. The violin work sounds like a dramatic cat mewing. Perhaps it's popular because weaboos and otaku (or whatever the Korean equivalent is, go check ED) find it similar to their shitty anime music.
Coastal Tempo (3rd Tempo) - STOP was good. This is not. What happened here? Sure there's some good parts about it, but most of it sounds like they literally vomited out the music and ran it through a synthesizer.
JBG (CROOVE) - Legit hip-hop. The song is merely ok, but it's far better than the crap out there today. At the very least it can serve as entertainment for any Fresh Prince of Bel-Air impersonators out there.
SIN (ESTi) - There were some good parts about this song, but then they ruined it with the piano backdrop and beats that had absolutely no synergy with the rest of the package. Same artist as Oblivion, and slightly better. Similar to Coastal Tempo, but it's still not good.
WhiteBlue (ZTS) - This is one of those songs you grow to like. This is pretty similar to some SHMUP artists and OSTs I heard (such as cityline90), so I guess I kind of liked it after repeated listens. It's average, but not stellar.
BlythE (M2U) - Similar to WhiteBlue, but I liked this mostly because they use vocal samples properly and it actually has some synergy with the music. Sure it's a sugary feminine voice but it's mixed in well with the music and I can't make out what she's trying to say which is even better so it doesn't seem like she's saying bullshit just to say it. All in all, this is relatively decent.
Colours of Sorrow (Tsukasa) - This started out as a promising (cheesy) hhc track you could find on Bonkers or HTID, but at 00:27 I was sorely disappointed. It all went downhill from there. Ugh. Since this was towards the end of my listening run, I should've noticed that the artist's other songs were shitty.
너에게 (Sweetune) (song title written as the Japanese あなたに on my copy) - I really don't care what this song's name is, as it fucking sucks. But I mention this because the male vocal sounds suspiciously similar to Raymond, who was an American part of Suzukisan. Aka Pokemon's little hip hop group responsible for such gems like Pokemon Ieru Ka Na? . That song is fucking awesome; it's way better than this shit.
It seems like I reviewed all of the songs, but I actually left out a number of them. For a quick wrap-up, here's a general summary of what I left out:
- They were uninteresting and bland
- They were mostly typical Asian pop bullshit (in addition to K-pop, J-pop and Chinese pop were represented)
- They were too awful to waste my time mentioning
I guess that's it for now. Thanks for reading, if you lasted this long lol. I wonder if I should do something in-depth like this again.

Firstly, I would like to thank FFinsider for uploading this original file. Apparently, the blog's page for it is down, but thankfully I was able to get ahold of this before it went down. I upload a mirror because there are very few good file storage sites to get this off of.....Megaupload's better than Rapidshit.

Notice: free downloads from Drokz!
Two blog posts in one day, yes. I'm going to make up for all the time I wasn't upping music.
Anyways, Drokz is one of the few remaining good regular artists on Thunderdome (a legendary hardcore series until they got shitty gabber artists like Angerfist on), and it came to my attention that he was offering free downloads on his site. I'm downloading "Thanks for your support" as I speak, and I can't wait to listen!

Drokz official site.
Currently, it's mostly mixes, but interesting nonetheless!
Obv in very good quality as Drokz has that kind of respect for his own music. :P

Godkiller - Deliverance

http://metal-archives.com/release.php?id=12753
Album: Deliverance
Release: 2000
Artist: Godkiller
Comments: All good things must come to an end, and Godkiller's excellent run is no exception. In my opinion, a better bm solo project than the overrated Burzum. Although I might eventually upload them myself, I would recommend any bm fan to go and find The Warlord, Rebirth of the Middle Ages, and of course The End of the World. All are solid releases. Now, back to this. I had to get this album shipped in from Denmark and....it's pretty eh. The issue with Deliverance is that it's such a huge musical departure from Satanaël's earlier works. It tries to be more like other "industrial" black metal bands such as Samael and Aborym, but ends up sounding sloppy. But in light of earlier Godkiller masterpieces, I'd say this album is worth a shot. I wouldn't call it great by any stretch, but it does have a little bit of that spark that made other Godkiller releases great.

A reflection on Cathedral Catholic High School after 4 years
I haven't made a post in awhile due to internet problems (which I'm on my last nerve with) and school, which is coincidentally ending next Saturday. Ah, yes, graduating from high school. Well, I've taken it upon myself to complete one last, long assignment: a reflection of my high school days. I'm going to be editing this as I go along, or just making a whole new post if it gets lengthy....
I'm not even sure where to begin. I even contemplated writing a satire, but it's better just pouring out my feelings. I'm pretty sure it's no surprise that my experience at Cathedral is largely negative, because of all sorts of things. I do have some positive things to say, though. First, here's how it changed me the past 4 years (and all the bitching that composes it):

I'm not even sure where to begin. I even contemplated writing a satire, but it's better just pouring out my feelings. I'm pretty sure it's no surprise that my experience at Cathedral is largely negative, because of all sorts of things. I do have some positive things to say, though. First, here's how it changed me the past 4 years (and all the bitching that composes it):
- Affirming my atheism. Before going to the school, I didn't give the issue of religion too much of a thought but a few years of witnessing fanaticism and disgustingly narrow beliefs from the school's religious education department had the opposite effect that was intended. I'm actually glad for the experience, as I know have better knowledge of the idiotic beliefs held by the Catholic Church, as I previously thought Christian fundamentalism was reserved to evangelical Protestants. I also thought more deeply into such matters and finally concluded that the idea of an omnipotent being is ridiculous and a bad crayon drawing of what human beings cannot explain.
- Conditioning me to cope with superficiality. A number of people who go to Cathedral, such as myself, are of a higher economic background than the average American and the stereotype of apathetic spoiled brats doing nothing but gossip all day is absolutely true. I swear, I wish I could fucking punch the bitches I sat with in a number of classes who spent the whole fucking time talking about who's fucking who, who got together and broke up, and OMGZ MYSPACE (Facebook after mid-junior year). I had no escape. My "friends" weren't much better (I'll go into detail later). These people create drama just to spice up their lives, living out reality TV without the slightest inkling it's fake (oh, and the only other topic discussed was The Hills). Now that I've been exposed to this stupidity firsthand, I now know that I'm leaving American when I get older. These idiots are America's "future" (note again their improved economic standard), and worst of all, they're going to be breeders. From firsthand experience, and my parents' testimonials, their own parents are scarcely better, mostly the anal type A kind that also get involved in their child's drama. Oh, and also materialism and entitlement. No wonder there's so many stupid, fucked up people in our country aka the lowest common denominator, and it's not going to change since they're having kids. Bonus: most of the girls I mentioned are having their parents pay $12k tuition a year for them to become housewives. No wonder the feminist movement is a fucking joke (and the butt of them)! Of course, since I have to pay for it too.
- The most reliable person in my life is myself. I've been in a few severe conflicts with my parents, and either by unfortunate circumstance, or perhaps my own behavior (which will be covered shortly), I know a total of three people I can confide in. And none of them come from school. In fact, as the school year closes, this apathy is even more apparent. I try my best to be the nice, caring friend who teases sometimes, but it's pretty goddamn clear that none of these people care about anyone besides themselves, their things, and a couple of people they consider to be bffs with. Outside of the friend sphere, there's also academics. A number of teachers have no fucking clue what they're doing and they "teach to the top of the class". Example: I remember a story Ms. Kressel (who is being fired from what I hear) told us in which a new hire was forced to hire Spanish despite not knowing anything about the language. If she couldn't, she'd be fired! Bam! As for the latter, I'm not going to name any names, but they operate on the "I'll still get my paycheck even if you fail" attitude and don't seem to care whether you understand the material or not. Needless to say, I was often on my own.
- Be a real individual and enjoy yourself. If you get shunned, embrace it! I'm not a social leper, but I was far from being popular in school. And you know what? I was goddamn proud of it. Let everyone know that I love Pokemon. Let them know that I collect stuffed animals, I like spontaneity, to dance and sing to different (and better) music that they listen to, joke around, to be random and enjoy myself even when I thought I might embarrass myself. I think that this was probably one of the most valuable lessons to learn in life, and I'm fortunate to have learned it. This is of course within bounds of decency, and I didn't infringe on others' personal rights while doing it, yet certain people still thought the yak hat was embarrassing, and oshit I'M ASSOCIATED WITH YOU, IT'S THE FUCKING END. I didn't care about one bit of it, and I hope that fellow eccentric people know that as long as you don't harm someone else and the action won't affect your chances of getting a job, it's ok to do it. Don't be afraid to do what you please. Judgmental people can go fuck off and wallow in their own superficial sorrows; those people who think it's embarrassing aren't really your friends. Both of those have held true for me.
- Fight authority when it steps over the line. Ah, I have a number of choice words for Mr. Tubbs and the Teletubbies that comprise the administration. Like the government in real life, it exists solely to protect the interests of themselves, the rich (the people who contribute to the school; my mother will contribute money to the alumni society against my will) and the privileged (the honors students who either sit inside all day and study or cheat on everything and the athletic students). Even if you belong to one of these groups, you sign away nearly every conceivable right: for instance, the right to property, the right to open and free expression, and the right to go to the damn restroom (though I'm aware a number of these are common American schooling practices). They tend to overreact over the slightest thing: expulsions for honest teenage mistakes, dress code detentions, and all kinds of excused and unexcused bullshit. If something gets taken away, your parents have to waste valuable time to get it, or it simply gets taken away for good as what happened to a sweatshirt that cost $50 (which is considered theft, but because of "legal age" bullshit I can't speak for myself). The teachers are beaten into paranoia by the ever looming administration that can fire them for not noticing a student text, alternate teaching methods, and expressing an opinion contrary to their will. This is why the utterly incompetent, universally hated Mr. Jancsi keeps his job (if you haven't had him, sit in for a class), while Ms. Kressel gets fired and Ms. Z barely escapes the axe.

Go to your senior prom.
For all of you who think prom is superficial, stupid, and excessive....well, it is.
Just enjoy it for one night, and I promise you you won't regret it. Go in with the thought that you'll have lots of fun, and you will. Go on the dance floor, get your ears blasted out, and dance as badly as you can to shitty music. It will be lame if you sit around with your friends the entire time or wander around aimlessly.
I almost didn't go to mine, and if I didn't I wouldn't know what I was missing out on. The people who didn't go to theirs regretted it, and you might too.
And yes, they did play the dreaded song.

The lowest common denominator has a really bad (yet fickle) taste in music
I fucking hate the song "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha. I just had to get straight to the point. And it's shaping up to be the most overplayed song of 2010. Seriously, I hear it no less than three times a day through daily life, the internet, and TV. I recently got a text from my friend containing the most overplayed lyrics of this overplayed song, albeit much improved as he was heavily drunk and by some miracle I was able to read his text. Now, people are free to enjoy their music, as long as they don't cram it down your throat and torture you with it, as is the case with this song being played in almost every imaginable crevice in the world. What annoys me most is when the song is stuck in my head, and a single line uttered by someone's mouth continues the painful cycle, like a PTSD for music.
Ok, so maybe my hatred for this song is greater because people's obliviousness to good party music infuriates this dedicated hardcore (as well as hhc, psytrance, dnb....the list goes on) fan. And it's really no surprise that the top 40 hits that people blindly listen to just because it's "popular" is complete garbage. It's quite sad, as for every hundred garbage hip-hop, pop, and rap acts (please correct my assumption that these are the most ravaged genres of music if I'm wrong), there is probably one good one overlooked, then disbanded because the members can't pay their rent. This is true for a number of metal bands in my collection I wish I had more of (i.e. Antithesis), and probably would be true for more popular genres of music.
No one's going to give a shit about Ke$ha in a few years. She better enjoy it now, because once people get over that stupid pile of shit, they'll move onto some other stupid pile of shit that I might not have my iPod available to save me from. I'm sure that intelligent people know the cycle of popular music, so I need not explain it. Sure, it's nice to discover new things, but it's also nice not to fucking forget artists after one song if you are particularly fond of their music. I can't speak for the lowest common denominator as a whole, but for people I regularly mingle with, there is very little artist loyalty to speak of. They just keep downloading the Billboard top 100 (and paying for that crap to people who don't deserve or need the money), and idly listen. Very different from "OH MY GOD THE NEW THUNDERDOME IS OUT!! I CAN'T WAIT TIL THE NEXT ID&T RELEASE!!!!!"
Well, I suppose that being set off by the latest Nostalgia Chick video, ranting, and then mentioning Thunderdome and wanting to find a good release to play at prom tomorrow really cooled me down, until the next time I hear the dreaded song. Undeniably. >.< That's the power of good music: it really calms and enlightens the soul. It makes you feel good, and the experience isn't forgettable as dime a dozen "hit" shit is. So until next time, peace.

Release: 2007
Artist: Various
Comments: My first music upload! This thing is pretty hard to find, and I thankfully was able to rip the audio from a bunch of Youtube videos until AVC and my Wi-Fi decided to go bust on me.
This is a nice arrangement from possibly one of the best SHMUP OSTs in existence, from the game Einhander. As a kid, I never got past stage 4 of this game. I suck, I know. The music is quite good, and while it is pretty accurate arrangement, a few of the tracks have twists on them. For example, Badlands on this album has a very, very different feel from the original. Take Off, my favorite track from the original (so much so that I set my alarm clock to play it every morning), is a little bit more mellow in this take.
Wow, I talk way too fucking much.

Note that the track names in the .zip file are messy, as they are unchanged from my ripping session. This can easily be rectified by renaming the files in any audio playing program, like iTunes or WMP. The tracks aren't any less recognizable though, so you'll know what's what.

The shitlist of internet problems I currently have.
In the unlikely case I forget, or an attempt to write exactly what I'll be telling the incompetent fools at Time Warner. Everything worked fine before we got the new TV.
Yes, Windows firewall is off. Because of the DS and Wii not being functional, the origin of the problem lies not in the computer, but in the modem. And the modem provider should thus help me.
- Unable to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi via DS or Wii.
- Unable to upload files to file sharing sites like Megaupload or Mediafire. Downloading files off them works, however.
- Unable to connect to multiplayer games on Gameranger or via Steam.
- Unable to use Softonic, Any Video Converter, or other such programs that connect to the internet.
- Unable to use iTunes. I can't play my music due to not being able to authorize my computer to play it. (psssst: Apple sucks)
