Couple of notes

Firstly, I have one more album to upload, which is the compilation of Ukrainian black metal. The album itself is ripped but I need to organize the track listing. It is rare, of course!

*drool* Rare...

I think I have some other crap too, but I'll hold off on that. I have HTID 3 on order (delivery date at the fucking end of October??), an ATR DVD I need to figure out how to rip, and other goodies. Additionally, I am able to re-rip some of these CDs in wav and someone wants them, I'll try to overcome my laziness and upload them. So for now, over and out!

DANCE PARADISE VOL.2-Non-Stop Euro Special-

I couldn't find album information for this online, but it's really not worth my time. This thing is a piece of shit. It's like disco and pop remakes of old songs I don't even like. I picked this up because as the font of the title suggests, this is Japanese and I expected either some cheesy hhc or club music or even J-pop renditions of shitty Europop crap. Any of these would have been preferable to the crap I got.

Enjoy, you sick fuck.

Actually, I apologize. I wouldn't insult anyone brave enough to try this.

3. Mord 04:20
4. Do What We Say 04:26

9. Forged In Blood 03:55
10. Outro: Skandinavian Majesty 03:40

Artist: Nordvargr
Release: 1997
Album: Northern Black Supremacy

Comments: Wow, artist is different than the title for once. Apparently, this isn't too rare because I swiped the track list off of another blog. Funny story is because it came in shitty paper packaging and the logo was difficult to read (not by metal standards, but by normal people who don't listen to this shit standards), it took three clerks at Rasputin Records in San Francisco's Union Square to scan this. But yeah, it's black metal. It's also that noisy kind of black metal. Kvlt low quality black metal. A lot of people don't like that stuff, so if you don't, stay away. I didn't find this stellar, but I didn't find it terrible either. I don't strongly recommend it unless you're either willing to try anything, have an open mind or you're a completely "kvlt br00tul" black metal fan.

Atari Teenage Riot - Burn, Berlin, Burn

http://www.discogs.com/Atari-Teenage-Riot-Burn-Berlin-Burn/release/45739
Album: Burn, Berlin, Burn!
Release: 1997
Artist: Atari Teenage Riot

Comments: Ok, this isn't rare, but I found this historic album for....$6 at the local music shop. $6 for a used copy of a historic record is a pretty good deal so I picked this up. This is a must listen for any digital hardcore fan, as the classic songs on it defined the genre. But I honestly think anyone could enjoy this if they give it a shot. A must-download.

Clicks & Cuts, Vol. 5 - Paradigm Shift

Album: Clicks & Cuts, Vol. 5.0 - Paradigm Shift
Release: 2010
Artist: Various Artists

Comments: While this is VA, I'm going to review this album as a whole. This is simply fantastic. This is a perfect blend of dubstep, industrial, breakbeat, trance, ambient and a touch of J-core and it's an extremely pleasurable listen all around. I was unable to find a track listing, but since this is ripped directly from the CD, the track listing on this upload should be correct. There's apparently a 5.1 with extra tracks listed on Discogs, but I was unable to find it and it certainly wasn't in the CD store where I found this. 5/5, 10/10, A+.

Wijlen Wij - Self Titled

http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=156731
Album: Wijlen Wij
Release: 2007
Artist: Wijlen Wij

Comments: Kicking off my big posting fest is funeral doom! I'm kind of a secret doom fan, but I don't listen to too much of it. I found this release at a record store for cheap and giving a quick look at the M-A reviews, I decided to pick this up. I think this is a pretty good release, although not without its flaws....but its flaws are basically why I'm not too big on doom. Whether or not you like doom, I would definitely recommend this release. It's a nice listen.

Tons of new uploads tomorrow

I finally got off my lazy ass and uploaded music that I bought. But yeah, obviously, no one's pressing me for activity because I'm not popular, eh? :P Anyways, I will make individual posts for each of the albums and compilations I have uploaded, and I have HTID on order which should be nice. Oh, and I'm too lazy to sort out this Ukrainian Hordes collection I have. kjshadkjadhsjkas

New blog mascot!

I have lots of uploads and updates coming when I move into school; one of these is that my blog mascot will officially be Mireille of .hack//Legend of the Twilight (or Dusk, whatever you like to call it). Because this blog specializes in uploads of rare releases and music, I feel that her obsession with rare items is a suitable match. And also since a lot of my friends and people who frequent my blog consider me cute. n_n I am not a Japanfag or weaboo or anything like that.

I don't have a good picture of her from the manga when she's spouting out her "rare" spiel...but this shall suffice for now.

"Super happy to meetcha! Music, games, items....rare is rare and I'm going after it!"

5th gen: initial impressions

You know what? I give up on this shit.

All I can say is that I feel like I'm at the top of a giant roller coaster with a huge drop. I do not like the sensation of falling and I don't like roller coasters. This game...will be nothing we have witnessed before.

And so....Gamefreak has succeeded in their goal.

DoDonPachi Resurrection - iOS

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8WBWG2RT

A game upload!?!? Yep! I originally uploaded this so I could help out the people on Simon B's amazing SHMUP thread rip the music off this game, so I might as well have this up for everyone else as well.

The game itself is a standard danmaku; my major beef with this game is that you use your finger to control Sally's ship. I know most iOS games are touch screen, but that doesn't work for a danmaku because my finger blocks some of my vision on the screen. Being able to see the entire screen so you can dodge bullets in danmakus is EXTREMELY important. However, if you have money to burn (I do because I don't buy music on iTunes anymore, lol), the $9 price tag is justified by graphics almost equal to arcade versions of previous DoDonPachi games, a wonderful soundtrack (the reason I bought it in the first place!), and addicting gameplay. Except for the goddamn finger issue. Oh well.

I promise I'll get stuff up

Maybe I'll split my blogs into two; one for music and music reviews, and one for me to rant.

I have some things to upload here, so yeah.

Um...that's all I really want to say.
